Bluetooth screen – Find Device
Lets the user find all CHESTER devices in their vicinity – scanning via Bluetooth.

Information about the found devices:
- Device name (1)
- check it on the "Overview" screen
- Bluetooth signal quality (2)
- device MAC address (3)
Scanning can be run again by swiping down – scanning takes 5 seconds, and the timer is reset each time a new device appears.

Bluetooth is not enabled
If, instead of the list of devices, you see the following message asking for Bluetooth permission.
- the phone has Bluetooth turned off - you need to turn it on in the phone settings
- the app has not been granted access to the Bluetooth adapter - restart it and grant the requested permissions

Connect and disconnect from a device
Tapping a device starts the connection process.
| Connecting to a device | Device is connected |

- After connecting, the app automatically redirects to the "Device Control" screen.
- To disconnect, return to the "Find Device" screen and tap the "Disconnect" button - as shown in the image above.
Connection and pairing process
If the phone connects to a not-yet-paired device, communication is established for the first time and the pairing process starts automatically.
Pairing process
It is controlled by the phone's operating system (OS) - the app only registers the state when the device is already successfully connected and paired.

The phone shows, most often at the top of the screen, a notification prompting to pair. This requires a password (PIN) for the device, which can only be found on the "Overview" screen.
List of problems that may occur
- The phone cannot find the device
- The device keeps disconnecting
- Incomplete pairing process (wrong password, the process was interrupted...)
- restart the Bluetooth adapter - turn Bluetooth off and on in the phone settings
- restart the app
- before retrying to connect/pair, wait 2-3 minutes for the previous communication to be completely cleared and forgotten
