Notifications basics

Use Notifications to detect missing data and notify the right people. You’ll configure:

  • Watchdogs: per data type thresholds that trigger when no data arrives for a period.
  • Alert subscriptions: who gets notified (email and/or SMS), optionally per data type.

Before You Begin​

  • Select an Organization in the selector when prompted.
  • You’ll see one card per Construction in that Organization.

User Permissions

Watchdogs configuration is available to Global Admins. Alert subscriptions can be created and managed by any user for themselves; Admins can manage all subscriptions in scope.

tip

If Organization Admins should also edit watchdogs, this can be enabled by policy—contact support to request it.

How it works​

  1. Open Notifications and select an Organization.
  2. Expand Measurement Points for a Construction.
  3. For each Measurement Point:
    • Watchdogs: enable/disable specific data types and set the time interval threshold.
    • Alerts: add recipients for email/SMS, choose data type(s), edit or remove existing subscriptions.
  4. Use the status badges in the table to spot issues: data transfer problems and low battery.
