Reports

Open the external reports and dashboards configured for an Organization, embedded directly in the portal.

Before you begin

Select an Organization that has at least one report link configured.

Availability

Reports are configured per Organization. An Organization with no report links shows "None of your companies has a report configured yet." If yours is empty and you expect a report, ask an Organization Admin or Global Admin to add the link — see Configure report links.

View a report

  1. Go to Reports from the main navigation
  2. Select an Organization

What happens next depends on how many report links the Organization has:

Links configuredWhat you see
NoneA message that no report is configured
OneThe report opens straight away
Two or moreAn overview of tiles, one per report. Click a tile to open it

With more than one report, Back to overview returns you to the tiles. Switching to a different Organization also returns you to the overview.

Fullscreen

Reports are embedded pages and can be cramped inside the portal layout. Use Fullscreen above the report to give it the whole window.

Report links live in the Organization's own settings, not on the Reports page.

User Permissions

Editing report links requires Organization Admin or above in that Organization. Everyone else sees the fields read-only.

  1. Go to Organizations and edit the Organization
  2. Open the Report settings card
  3. Click Add link and fill in:
    • Name — what the tile and heading show, for example "Dashboard"
    • Link (URL) — the embed URL, which must be a valid http(s) address
  4. Save the Organization

Add as many links as the Organization needs; Remove link deletes one.

Only when editing an existing Organization

The Report settings card appears only when editing an Organization that already exists. It is not offered while creating one, because report links would be discarded on create.

Names are optional but worth setting

A link with no name falls back to a positional label — "Reports 1", "Reports 2" — which tells nobody what the report is. Name them.
