ποΈ Devices overview
Devices are physical measuring units that send data to the Statotest cloud. Most devices can be configured via the mobile app and/or remotely from the Terminal.
ποΈ Assign a device to a Measurement Point
To send data to the Statotest cloud, a device must be assigned to a Measurement Point. A device can technically be linked to multiple Measurement Points and vice versa, but we strongly recommend keeping the relationship 1:1 (one device per point) for clarity and data consistency.
ποΈ Find/Search devices
Use the Find Device panel to quickly locate devices by Name or Serial Number and perform actions in context.
ποΈ Create and register devices
A device has to exist in the system before it can be registered under an Organization, and it has to be registered before it can collect data for a Measurement Point.
ποΈ Device files
Attach documents to a device β datasheets, calibration protocols, wiring photos β so they stay with the unit instead of living in someone's mailbox.
