Find/Search devices

Use the Find Device panel to quickly locate devices by Name or Serial Number and perform actions in context.

User Permissions

This feature is available to Global Admins only.

How it works​

  • Enter at least 3 characters of the device Name or Serial Number.
  • Matching results include:
    • Devices registered under Organizations
    • Unregistered devices available for registration
  • From the results list you can:
    • Select entities (Organization → Construction → Measurement Point) to navigate context
    • Assign to a Measurement Point (if the device is registered under an Organization)
    • Change the assigned Measurement Point
    • Unassign from a Measurement Point
    • Unregister a device from an Organization (Global Admin only)
    • Register an unregistered device (Global Admin only)

Tips​

  • Press Enter to show results; press Escape to hide the results overlay.
  • Selecting entities updates the top navigation context so related routes (Constructions, Charts) open in the right place.
