User Roles

Statotest uses roles to control access and actions across Organizations, Constructions, and Measurement Points. A user may be a member of multiple Organizations and can have different permissions in each.

Available roles​

  • Global Administrator
    • Statotest system administrators. Not covered in detail in this guide.
  • Organization Administrator
    • Manages users for their Organization (create accounts, assign existing users)
    • Manages constructions and measurement points within the Organization
  • Construction Administrator
    • Manages constructions and measurement points they have access to within the Organization
  • User
    • Reads data and uses standard features for assigned constructions and measurement points
  • Guest
    • View-only access where granted
Role vs. Organization Membership

Being a member of an Organization grants access based on your role within that Organization. A user can belong to several Organizations with different roles in each.

You can see your current role on the Profile Settings page.

External data sharing

When you need to provide view-only access without accounts, use data sharing links (Export Tokens) documented in the Charts section of the portal.
