Animation Control

A control for navigating time-based animations across the portal.

What it does​

  • Navigate through frames for the selected time range
  • Step to previous/next frame
  • Auto-loop playback with adjustable speed

Controls​

  • Frame slider

    • Shows current frame position; drag or click to jump to a frame
    • Range goes from 0 to the last available frame index

  • Previous / Next

    • Step to the previous or next frame
    • Disabled when no data is available

  • Auto loop

    • Toggles continuous playback through frames
    • Loops back to the start at the end of the series

  • Speed

    • Adjusts how many frames are advanced per tick while auto-looping
    • Higher values play faster through long series
tip

While auto-looping, chart tooltips are disabled to keep playback smooth.

When it’s disabled​

  • The entire control is disabled when there are no frames
  • Previous/Next are disabled at boundaries when applicable
